Very friendly hosts, wonderful tips for exploring the city. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. They have fruits from their own garden, including Mangos - so yummy. Location can be reached easily with a TukTuk.

The view from the room is super beautiful, the vocation is a little bit outside of the city Center what makes it really calm and natural. When I sat on the terrace I saw monkeys and palm trees. The best part of this place is the host family who treated me super kindly and made me part of the family for the time I stayed at their place. The owner of the property took me to a lot of hidden places and when I got hungry he dropped me at a really nice restaurant. I am really grateful I got to know them!

Super Kind and welcoming family, offered to cook us dinner which was really amazing. The Place was also very clean and Nice, I guess quite New. I liked the Garden as well.

Nestled amidst the tranquil jungle surroundings, the hotel provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sight of peacocks, monkeys, and squirrels frolicking in the hotel garden added an extra layer of charm to the experience. One highlight of my stay was the early morning packed breakfast provided for our Wilpattu tour at 5:30 am. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to start our day of exploration on the right foot. Moreover, the presence of an organic coconut and mango grove on the premises added a delightful tropical touch to the experience, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and locally sourced produce. In conclusion, my time at Subaseth Villa was nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking surroundings, every moment exceeded my expectations. Beautiful spacious tranquil property with lots of trees and shade and a lovely clean swimming pool. Run by a kind and friendly family who tried their best to teach me Sinhalese, plus 2 lovely dogs, Rocky and Shadow

Finding this place on Booking was pure luck — we’ve felt at home from start to finish. They served us delicious traditional dinners and breakfasts, and the attention was outstanding. Our host and her mother are truly wonderful people. She even showed us the river behind her house and took us to the bus station, helping us find the exact bus we needed. I recommend everyone coming to Anuradhapura to stay here. It’s been one of the most unique and beautiful experiences we’ve had while traveling. The kindest person we’ve met so far — thank you for everything, from the bottom of our hearts.
