An Absolute Slice of Heaven! Our Unforgettable Stay at Ahas Gawwa We started our Sri Lanka journey at Ahas Gawwa and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, every single aspect of our stay has been special. This isn't just a hotel; it's a sanctuary. The Welcome & Service: The hospitality here is great. We were greeted with the warmest, most genuine smiles, which immediately made us feel at ease. The staff are the true heart of this place. They are incredibly attentive, professional, and seem to anticipate your needs before you even ask. Every request is met with a "can-do" attitude and a warmth that feels truly special. The Room & Views: Our room is a beautifully designed haven of comfort and style. It's proper and clean, with thoughtful amenities and one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. And the view... wow! Waking up and looking out over the breathtaking landscape is a magical experience that a photo could never fully capture. The hotel's name, "Ahas Gawwa" (The Horizon), is perfectly fitting. You truly feel like you're floating above the world. Ambiance & Atmosphere: The entire property exudes a sense of peace and tranquility. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The architecture blends beautifully with the stunning natural surroundings, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and deeply relaxing. The Food: Every meal has been a culinary delight! The chefs are clearly passionate about what they do, using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create dishes that are both delicious and beautifully presented. We've enjoyed a fantastic array of both local Sri Lankan flavours and international cuisine. Overall: We cannot recommend Ahas Gawwa highly enough. Our 3-night stay has been a dream, and our only regret is that we will eventually have to leave.

The place was clean, comfortable, and well located. The price was also very reasonable. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others

This is a beautiful place located in a serene and quite tea estate. You look out onto greenery and it instantly brings you close to nature. There's a beautiful forest of rubber trees close by, and you can take a bike ride or walk though it. The host is wonderful, kind, and hospitable. And they cooked great food. Come here if you want to get away from Colombo for a bit, or need some time in nature.

The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help; they made us feel at home.

We spent one night there and were very satisfied, very good value for money. The room was really big with a small terrace. You can't hear anything from the street, there is a big and nice garden. We arrived with our bikes and were able to store them in the room. We also recommend the restaurant in the hotel, very tasty food and nice staff.

A beautiful, nature-friendly location surrounded by trees and peaceful watersides. The atmosphere is incredibly calm, with the soothing sound of birds adding to the relaxing vibe. The rooms are comfortable, well-maintained, and air-conditioned. During our stay, there was a local power cut, but the place had a generator that provided uninterrupted electricity. Wi-Fi worked well throughout. The food was delicious and very budget-friendly. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

The Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. The host was so welcoming and friendly, was really there for everything I needed. The room was comfortable and large. A lovely view over the pool area, which was also very nice. Would definitely recommend staying. Not many reviews yet as its new on booking.com, but its a great place!
