Had dinner at Kandy Calm Residence, and it was a fantastic experience. A proper home-cooked Sri Lankan meal with warm hospitality. The place is cozy and inviting, and the hosts incredibly welcoming. They took the time to explain each dish, where the ingredients come from, and how everything is made. You can tell they truly care about what they do. The food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. Every dish had the perfect balance of spices and home-style cooking, making the meal unforgettable. What made the dinner even more special was the personal touch, with thoughtful presentation and warm conversations with the hosts. It was more than just a meal; it was a true taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. The accomodation is spacious, well appointed, clean and well presented. If you're looking for stay and authentic, home-cooked meal in a peaceful and welcoming setting, I highly recommend a stay at Kandy Calm Residence.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Crown Hotel in Ampitiya and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the General Manager and his team. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests - truly commendable. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views and immaculate facilities, but it was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the General Manager that truly made my stay memorable. His professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service is a true asset to the hotel. Kandy Myst by Cinnamon is an absolute gem in the heart of Kandy! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming — going above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The rooms were cozy, modern, and spotless, with extremely comfortable beds that made for a perfect night’s sleep. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy town. The breakfast buffet was scrumptious, offering a wonderful mix of authentic Sri Lankan dishes and international options, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The parking area was another highlight — spacious and directly connected to the lift and rooms, which made it super convenient.

The best stay in Srilanka for us. In the middle of the nature, cozy, clean rooms, delicious food and extremely hospitable staff who made us feel like very special guests. The owner arranged for us last minute tickets for the train and even arranged transportation to the station. You just tell what you need and you can consider it done. Nice feeling:). Would be happy to stay for a longer period.

I loved everything about the property. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The owner was so lovely. We had some great chats! The whole place was bright white spotless and smelt beautiful. Our room had panoramic full glass views looking over Kandy. The bed was very comfortable and the shower brilliant. Over all a fantastic stay.
