I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with comfortable linens and all the necessary amenities, including tea, coffee, hot water, and toiletries—all provided free of charge. The complimentary WiFi covered the entire cottage, ensuring a seamless connection. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, served in a peaceful setting with the soothing sounds of birds and stunning nature views. I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of work. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone visiting the area, whether for research or leisure. Highly recommended!

There is NOTHING to dislike! The best place I think I've ever stayed in my life. Just magic. The food is incredible, and we wanted to stay longer, but he was fully booked. Waaaaaaaa!!!

The view from our room was fantastic. The bathroom facilities are new, everything works very good, hot water exists. The swimming pool is clean enough. The manager and staff is very polite and kind. Breakfast was very good, we asked to prepare traditional local one. Tea and coffee on request.

Amazing and peaceful place in the middle of Rain Forest. Clean room and delicious meal from Vini's wife. Vini is very friendly and kind man. He arrange for us 7 hours tour to the viewpoint of Sinharaja Rain Forest and many waterfalls. 100% recommended.

Fantastic location and very kind and sympathic host Chanaka. This is a pleasure to stay so close with the nature, practically in the jungle. Chanaka also was the great tourist guide (you can go to Sinharaja Forest with him!) with an amazing "eagle" eye to rare animals. We have an incredible opportunities to saw an frogmouth owl, which is not frequent and easy to meet especially in the daytime. Also the waterfall at the end of the journey in forest is just wonderful, clean and refreshing water after an few hour was just perfect. We also had an ocassion to tried traditional delicacies with whole fantastic and kind family, because Chanaka invite us to him house and they are lovely, very hospitality, give us an amazing local food and drink like Toddy, honey and jaggery chickal tree (i hope so i’ve good notice this name). It was an excitement experience which i totally recommend for everyone, especially with Chanaka as an tourist guide, because he perfectly knows the area he loves so he really give you a heart for your whole stay!

beautiful location, very peaceful, lovely natural pool, river also runs by the property. The rooms were large and very comfortable,the ceiling fan worked very well,each room had it's own terrace with seating,my room even had a table and chairs to give me the option of eating there if I wanted to.The food was great, even enjoyed a BBQ with a lovely fire nearby, could be a lovely romantic evening had my husband traveled with me. Wonderful place for families or friends, there is a boat with paddles for hours of fun in the river. I spent four nights and it was very hard to leave such a beautiful place.

The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

it’s a very cute place, all made of woods. located just on the riverside. many birds singing around. there is a big terrace in front of the entrance, perfect for morning yoga. bed is very big and comfortable. we have visited national park near by and saw many animals, different lizards, snakes, birds. our trip was perfectly organised by the owner. he is very nice man and friendly, we have enjoyed his company. especially we want to notice that food was amazing, like in a good restaurant. we definitely will remember our stay and come back again! 😊
