Literally everything! From the beautiful architecture to the staff. The chef is amazing and every meal was special, the staff is incredibly kind and resourceful. Ayurveda treatments and yoga sessions are great. The silence and the view from the room will leave you speechless. Hope to be back soon!

⭐ (10/10) Fetnale Retreat was simply unforgettable. Set in the mountains and jungle, it had the most breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The service was the best we have ever experienced in any hotel, the food was exceptional, and the rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. Our guided walk to the waterfall was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Every detail was flawless—this is why it’s a perfect 10 from us.

I had a wonderful experience at Seven Luck Palace. They were extremely accommodating and their service was exceptional. The room was also clean and very comfortable. They all go beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I took advantage of the location and atmosphere as well. Seven luck palace is located in a quiet & calm village in the middle of the green jungles with all birds signing freely. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Kandy.

One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cuisine. Every meal was a delight to the senses, with a perfect balance of flavors and impeccable presentation. The cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen was remarkable, further enhancing our dining experience. The serene environment surrounding the villa provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation Whether lounging by the pool or taking in the breathtaking views from our room, every moment felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Overall, our experience at this villa was nothing short of extraordinary. Every aspect, from the attentive staff to the luxurious accommodations and delectable cuisine, exceeded our expectations. The Kandy House was our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka aesthetically and for service and in our opinion should be the model for for all manor houses in Sri Lanka in terms of interiors, grounds and operations. The house has been kept in impeccable condition, preserving the beautiful heritage while flawlessly balancing more modern Sri Lankan artists and textiles. We were only in Kandy briefly, and the hotel manager who personally greeted us on arrival, organized a quick tuk tuk tour of the highlights, a beautiful meal, packed lunches for the train journey the next day while also making sure we had time to enjoy the beautiful pool and grounds. The manager was exceptional at his job. Everything ran like clockwork.The staff were attentive, courteous and discreet. The food was amazing. We arrived exhausted and departed less than 24 hours later with a new vibrancy after delicious food and deep rest. This is the kind of hotel you want to live in and I would have spent an extra day in Kandy just to have one more night at this property. This is the experience one always hopes for. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Very pleasant and relaxed accommodation. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was big, the beds were comfortable, we also had AC. The children loved the pool. Pleasant!

It was a lovely modern property with spacious rooms and a nice clean pool. In the rooms, there was a both a fan and air conditioning. Downstairs, there was a lounge area and dining area which was very welcoming. The breakfast was great, a variety of fruits, eggs, and toast. The hosts were very welcoming, they were happy to provide a freshly cooked delicious dinner as there wasn’t a huge selection in town.

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure
