I can only recommend this hostel if you are looking for a cozy, clean place with good vibes. The hostel has direct access to the beach (practically private) and is convenient to bus stops. On the side you will still find supermarkets and places for primary things. Super clean and well maintained hostel, very relaxing atmosphere! The guy who work there and the owners are wonderful, they make you feel at home. I extended my stay already after the first day I stayed. I hope to return before my departure! :)

The best part of this place is its peaceful atmosphere. The property is surrounded by nature, with many fruit trees all around. It’s a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Beautiful hotel interior. All staff are very friendly and always smiling. It was nice that there was beach access. The attentiveness of the staff is what really made it stand out like contacting us before we arrived to ensure we were all set and they helped organise our activities. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others

From the moment we booked the hotel staff looked after us right up until the point that we ended our trip. They took excellent care of us. Nothing was too much trouble including getting plasters and making a diabetic breakfast for me. Rooms were stunning and we even visited the Art shop and purchased some beautiful items. A lovely touch was checking we arrived home safe after leaving Sri Lanka!

Everything was just marvelous, the suit design, cleanliness and comfort. The view was astonishing and magnificent, we had a pool with jets like a jacuzzi in the balcony and it was spectacular. I am definitely coming back here. We extremely loved our stay. We had dinner in the Tempest restaurant, it was delicious and the Spa was amazing. Thank you Crystal Sands for making our stay an unforgettable one.

The host, Hansitha is genuine and help me in everyway. Excellent location. Room and bathroom was okay to me as a solo traveler. Specially, their laundry service was much more helpful to me and the laundry service fee was very reasonable.

This was our 16th place to stay in Sri Lanka. It has to be the most peaceful, relaxing and chilled out of all. Lovely clean, spacious room, with a small seating area which we loved the views onto the lake. The staff were exceptional! We also hired their kayaks and went for a trip on the serene lake. We’ll remember this place and would definitely return.
