We loved our stay At One, it had almost family vibes! Staff were excellent, breakfast and dinner was beautiful. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a little bit different accommodation. Premises are kept really clean and tidy.

We loved our stay here! The villa was wonderful, clean, spacious, lovely pool and we enjoyed the delicious meals which were served on our private terrace and were prepared by a chef both trained in Sri Lankan and European dishes. The staff was very friendly, unobtrusive and the house was a great place to rest. German owners - very easy to work with. We also saw baby turtles on the beach and this made this place even more special. Swimming in the sea was no problem. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will come back one day for sure.

The room and bathroom were spacious, well designed and impeccably clean -- we really appreciated the attention to details and the additional functionality offered by the daybed, the small desk, the armchairs as we were travelling with our tween and also had to do some work while on vacation. The pool was lovely - it is a good size and none of us had red eyes from chlorination. The beach the property opens onto is gloriously clean and we had it entirely to ourselves most of the time. The cafe served up delicious food but their menu offers only a few Sri Lankan dishes. At our request, the kitchen was only too happy to whip up Sri Lankan meals -- prawn and fish curries, traditional coconut sambol, dhals, gotukala salad, okra salad, ridge gourd in coconut milk, star bean stir fry, eggplant gojju, Sri Lankan pancakes with ice cream, watalapam .... these were by far the best meals we enjoyed during the entirety of our holiday and we would heartily recommend visitors to Lankavatara sample the Sri Lankan meals. The staff are very well informed and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay a memorable one -- from organising tuktuks, catamaran rides in the Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary and turtle watching or airport transfers.

I realized that this hotel will be great after I received very pleasant and warm messages in confirmation of my booking, with advice on accommodation, contact numbers of managers, and some recommendations . Hotel just perfect , in everything: territory, swimming pool , lobby , the style and design . The room is so lite and cozy, many cute nice details in interior - everything in hotel , every part made with love and good taste. The beach is wonderful, sun beds and tables for lunch are comfortable located. Food is tasty , breakfast delicious and you can choose different variants of it. On territory of hotel have nice special place for massage, you can choose and Oder - massage very good one. I want also to highlight work of all staff in hotel , they really doing them job very good . Especially Mr. Thushara, he was a very attentive, polite , mannerle, he immediately responded to all my requests and sometimes even anticipated them) , I appreciate for care , thanks a lot it makes my holiday really relax full and amazing. I want to say thanks and big respect to owner of this hotel - she created really unique place. Paradise - it is exactly how can say about this place in one word. Keep going like this guys. Take care people who is working there - because team is really important . I am highly recommend this place . And if will back to Sri - Lanka , will choose only this wonderful place - Golden Beach Paradise Hotel ❤️

Host is super friendly, just like a best friend's mum. Both she and her son are very helpful. It's near a superb seafood restaurant, 20 mins driver from a nice beach. The place is spacious and clean, with racks to hang clothes.

I was looking for a little bit of luxury for a couple night during my 3 month travel of Sri Lanka and this place was it! So happy I booked here. The room was stunning spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a real treat with a huge shower and hot water and so clean! Complimentary robes and slippers, a safe and fridge in the room, luxurious pillows and furnishings made you feel like you were staying in a 5* resort. The view from the room over the lagoon was so serene and idyllic. The pool was gorgeous to sit by during the day. The staff were incredible, so friendly and caring, from welcome drinks and conversation to being brought a coconut by the pool whilst relaxing. Room service is available with a nice selection of wines of offer. The food was lovely in their restaurant and again tip top customer service and all with a smile. You can tell the people that run this have a real passion for it and they do a brilliant job! When I come back to Sri Lanka I will 100% stay here again! Thank you again to the hosts!

Staff is really attentive and helpful. This makes for a really stress free vacation as we did not have to worry about a thing. Food was delicious and always prepared fresh. Beach was as epic as it gets, long and wide sandy strip. Pool was well taken care of and loungers were plenty to be found in shade and in sun. Rooms, although simple, were comfortable and cleaned daily. Location is good, quiet and relaxing.

    The beach is great.

    The beach is great. Long, empty and in the night there is the possibility for turtle watching. Actually you are not allowed on the beach if you don’t go/pay for turtle watching since it is a hatching place for turtles and they are protecting them in the process.
