Sri and his team went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The service and kindness were truly exceptional. Worth noting: On our second night, we were offered a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon room—an all-glass, secluded space perched on a sand dune with an ocean view. Waking up there was truly magical. Sri is also an Ayurvedic master. He gave me an unforgettable full-body treatment, and the next morning, we had a yoga session by the pool. In both activities, he not only demonstrated deep expertise but also explained the underlying principles of Ayurveda in a way that was easy to grasp. I highly recommend trying these. At 5 a.m., they had arranged a fishing trip with local fishermen. Although it was too windy to go out to sea, they adapted the plan and taught us stationary fishing on the beach instead. The fishermen eventually caught some small crabs, which the chef prepared for breakfast—such a unique experience. We really appreciated the opportunity to plant a tree with our name in their garden at the end of our stay. The pool overlooking the ocean was also a highlight. If you're looking for an authentic, thoughtfully curated experience by the ocean—one that also aligns with sustainable, long-term goals—this is the place to go. I've stayed in at least 100 different locations in Sri Lanka over the years, but Agro Village wins my award for the best rooms. Designed and built by the owner, the rooms are light and airy, with all the plugs in the right places, an amazingly comfortable bed, no mosquitoes, a very good bathroom - with a mop! - and an outside area in the trees. The food is just right too. And he's planning a swimming pool! The price is a lot lower than other places in Kalpitya, if we needed any other reason to come back.

This was one of the favorite places we stayed on our trip! The setting is absolutely beautiful within the sand dunes and right on the beach. The yard is so beautiful with many plants and trees and the rooms were very comfortable. The owner was beyond amazing and went out of his way to make our stay amazing. He even helped us to order dinner from a restaurant for delivery and reheated the food for us. The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back! Thanks again.

Semi remote near the beach but felt secluded. Sound of the nature surrounding the very small resort. Toads, birds, wild donkeys etc. Team fabulous and couldn’t be more friendly :-) Lovely welcome and hot drinks brought straight to room on arrival and beautiful home made food !

It was absolutely fantastic! We were so delighted to be in such a paradise as a final chill out of our one month's trip in Sri Lanka. It was probably our best accommodation! Nobody is there,just quite fishermen ,who are always busy with fishing and repairing nets. This fresh fish we ate every evening, cooked in different ways ( the prices were also amazing friendly). Very clean,made with love,room with a terrace right on the seaside. Super friendly hosts! If you need to go to the village, they can drop you with tuk tuk(10min). Very clean area in general. Kilometers of empty beach,swimming is great there. Highly recommended!!! Thanks very much, Rexy and his big family!!

Beautiful property and well maintained . The owners were fabulous and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a private bungalow which was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. The meals were great and plentiful. We would visit again.
