Location is amazing. Like a little private island. Entrance to the resort is like a nice walk in mangrove jungle. It’s really well mantained. We stayed in the ac room and the room was super clean, really comfortable and well decorated. Staff and the owner, ware really helpful and really sweet to us. We can totally recommend to stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed—comfortable bed, fresh linens, and good air conditioning. What really stood out was the staff. They were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions and local recommendations. The location was also very convenient. For the price I paid, the value was outstanding. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout my stay. We had the most wonderful stay at Darashana Beach Hotel - highly recommend to anyone staying in Kosgoda ! Absolutely stunning view of the beach from both our room and the breakfast terrace. The room is clean, equipped with AC, mosquito nets. Extensive breakfast with fresh fruit salad and the most delicious juices ! There is also a pool area, although we spent most of our time at the beach (1 minute away). The staff was truly so helpful and kind. Suitable for couples, families and groups of friends alike, wifi strong enough to work remotely for those who can never quite put down their laptops ;)

I don't know where to start. The place is just magical. It's completely in nature and has an amazing view over the lake. The surroundings are peaceful far away from any noise. The rooms are the biggest I've stayed in here in Sri Lanka and very luxurious. Also the balcony is huge and you can sit down and just enjoy the view on bird island and the lake as well as from your bed when you're waking up. The swimming pool was nice and refreshing and I had it all by myself. Besides the great place the hospitality was on a next level. My mornings have started with a refreshing homemade juice/smoothie that was brought to my room and free of charge. What a great start to the day. Furthermore, the owner arranged a private boat tour on the lake to visit the small islands such as Cinnamon island and I even could see a small crocodile on the tour. The tour took over 3 hours and it was no mass tour. Also, he recommended a great tour guide for Yala National Park and Ella. The dinner I had at the hotel was amazing. You can taste that he was previously working in a 5 star restaurant as a chef. Thanks again for everything and I definitely will come back the next time I'm visiting Sri Lanka.
