Excellent Location !! No disturbances on the beach at all !! Very seldom you find something like this for yourself only. Very peaceful and great place to stay !! The Sunny weather and sandy beach was a perfect location for our stay ! We prefer privacy for our stay and which we found at Giman Free Beach Resort. Great staff and free wi fi, great sea food straight from the local fisher folk from the daily catch !! We were told there is traditional Ayurveda treatment at the Resort by our friendly UK guest at the Resort but we did not have time to experience same. We will be back next year !!

If “off the beaten track” is what you’re after, this is the place. It’s a farm run by a beautiful family who have a well appointed set up for visitors. We chose this location being somewhat close to Somawathiya National Park. Unfortunately, the National Park is not open to the public so instead we visited Somawathiya Chaitya. A great traditional breakfast is included and our hosts went above and beyond to help us in any way they could. BTW - their English is not good but adequate with the assistance of translation apps.
