Everything was fine, the view is stunning, breakfast served as for 4 persons (while we have been two of us). Owners friendly and hospitable. In the evening we walked to the waterfall and had a nice dip before sleep. Location is just perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Amazing experience during my stay in Ella. Beautiful view from the balcony, and amazing hosts. You could order meals from them as well. Very good local food. The hosts are very kind and caring. They even helped me with getting a tuk tuk to one of the locations I wanted to visit. Right behind the property, there is a bit of a hike you could do, and you could have an amazing view of the whole area. The hosts accompanied me all the way up there to get some photos. Well kept place with all the required facilities. Two large beds, bunk bed style! Highly recommended.

The scenery is breathtaking and so peaceful. You can really slow down and watch daily life for the wonderful people up here, surrounded by nature. The food was incredible, fresh from the fields. Chama and his whole family are so friendly, you really feel welcomed into the family. He was so accommodating too, helped us do all the things we wanted to do. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We, my girlfriend and I, have experienced our stay as a wonderful journey. When we arrived, we were faced with a closed gate, but within seconds the owner arrived. After checking in, we entered the room – perfect! A nice big bed, a clean and spacious bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and everything you could need! After having a little chat, the hotel owner asked about our plans. We mentioned that we came for the nature and tranquility, and without hesitation, he offered to show us around the area. This was the start of an experience we will never forget. 🙏 First, we went to a small waterfall, very local with no tourists – just some local youngsters hanging out who even offered us a beer. Then he took us to Diyaluma Falls – what a massive waterfall that was! He offered us lunch, which he had made himself! A sandwich we’ll never forget; it was incredibly delicious. Next, we visited Buduruwagala Rock Carvings, where the owner introduced us to Buddhism. The place was surrounded by nature – trees, plants, birds – pure enjoyment. We thought we were heading back to the hotel, but nothing could be further from the truth. We visited real monks, where we received blessings and a white bracelet from an elderly monk. They also offered us boiled corn – so tasty! After the visit, we continued back to the hotel. On the way, we ran into a friend of the owner, who invited us to their home. When we arrived, the whole family was there to meet us. What kind and friendly people! They offered us tea and chocolate biscuits, and my girlfriend even received a gift! It gave us such a happy feeling, something we will cherish forever. ❤️ Then it was time to head back to the hotel – or so we thought. Instead, we went elephant spotting! Yes, you read that right – real wild elephants! It got quite late, but we spotted several wild animals, including both a male and female elephant. This, too, will stay with us forever.
