During our trip to Sri Lanka – a 14-day circuit – we stayed three nights at the Flame Tree Estate. And what happiness! In terms of accommodation, this was our best stopover. This estate-hotel, near Kandy, is a delicacy for the eyes, ears, and taste buds. Wonderfully located in a dream setting, its infinity pool offers breathtaking views of the lush jungle. At night, you will admire the constellations of stars. Saturn and Jupiter are overhead. We had booked the keys to the “cordial crocodile” room located in the recent annex building with an “art deco” style design. The room was very nice, nicely decorated. The bed was as high as it was comfortable (the bed was very high and very comfortable). The bathroom, all in black, was splendid (don't get lost in the shower 😊, it's huge); We booked a room with a view and the view does not disappoint! From the bedroom terrace, the view of nature was breathtaking. As for the main building where the common areas are located, strolling there is a real pleasure. It's a real art gallery inside. The numerous works as well as the carefully chosen decorative objects give the place its very personal character: singular, delicate, and refined. The harmony of colors contributes to the aesthetics of the place. The meals were delicious and very filling. Evening dinner, served as a set menu, was a delight. What to add? That reading the explanatory brochure on the estate left in the room gives a smile. David is English, he has the English humor that we love. How we loved the choice of music, diffused subtly in the living room. That getting lost to find the entrance to the 1H30 walk is a game 😉. An unforgettable memory for us. That when we left the place, we had a little twinge in the heart. But in such a case, better to be sad than happy 😉 Thanks, David, for the welcome. Thanks for sending us the flame tree playlist. I had a wonderful stay at Royal Lion in Galagadara. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and clean, with stunning mountain views that make your stay feel peaceful and relaxing. The food was also delicious — freshly prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Kandy area who wants a calm and cozy experience with great hospitality!

More than a hotel in a quiet and beautiful green part of Kandy. This place is owned by an Ayurvedic doctor who is one of the nicest man whom we met. I got a flower bouquet as a welcome present. The building is very nice, newly built and tasteful. Rooms are like King's suites. Super clean and comfortable huge rooms and beds with beautiful furniture, living area and TV, loud speakers. The bathroom has shower and bath tub too with (always) hot water! A huge private well equipped kitchen is also part of the room. Everywhere the highest level of cleanness and hospitality. The rooftop restaurant and pool area is also super clean and beautiful, tranquil.breathtaking view too the local hillside. The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. The whole place is a magic, it has a calm, heartwarming atmosphere. If someone have more time definitely spend 3-5 days here and have ayurvedic treatments/massages. We will take us unforgettable memories of this place and the people who work here. We had beautiful ayurvedic massage at the owner's place very close to the hotel. Experienced and qualified therapists works for this place. Thank you Dr. Nawarathna, and Charuka who served us and supported us all time and all the staff members this heartwarming experience!

The staff was caring and really listened. The showers were warm, and the view was perfect.we liked the fact that it was 2km away from downtown Kandy. The sri lankan breakfast was good as well. The pool looked good, but we didn't try it.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Green Agras Leisure and would highly recommend it. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful – with breathtaking views, a stunning pool, and impressive architecture. The food was always freshly prepared and offered a wide variety of dishes. The entire service team was extremely friendly, warm, and fun. After just a few days, it felt very personal, as if we were among friends. We also joined a cooking class, which was a fantastic experience with delicious food and very kind instructors. In addition, I enjoyed a massage, which was excellent as well. All in all, this place is highly recommendable, and we would definitely love to come back!
