stayed here many a time, lovely hotel close to bastogne staff super friendly great breakfast and supper menu dinner game stew was fantastic easy parking walking short instance to mall but yet in the middle of the ardennes. even got a couple hours across the syeer that like to see guess!

The view from our room was nothing short of breathtaking, offering a front-row seat to nature's beauty. The staff at Dirbach Plage was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction, and we felt genuinely cared for during our visit. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained. We stayed in one of the charming wooden cabins, which added an extra touch of coziness to our stay.     Wilz. What a disappointment.

    Wilz. What a disappointment. For such a large town in the Ardenne with all its great country trails and forests around, the town has little to offer except being a base to sleep. It feels very functional and food choices ae limited. It's high spots are the chateau grounds and its Battle of Bulge museum, some other gardens and a memorial tower, but plan for less than 1/2 day. Sports facilities are a plus point too - not that you'll need extra fitness - streets are steep. For one solid memory, head west out of town to the National liberation memorial at the Schumanns Eck crossroads. It recognises the allies liberation of the area in late 1944-45 through a 3km installation trail of 65 life-size silhouettes images of real US and German soldiers and civilians present during the Ardennes offensive. Go early and in eerie silence appreciate your freedom.

    It's a good base for the area.

    It's a good base for the area. The castle with the brewery, museum and Battle of the Bulge museum were interesting (1/2 a day max). Its worth climbing the tower for the view. There's a enough bars & restaurants to offer variety for a few days. We're not hikers, so no idea on that.

    A pleasant little town - good for a relaxing weekend but...

    A pleasant little town - good for a relaxing weekend but don't expect too much in way of shops - castle and museum is nice as it the Parc de Wiltz. The restaurant at the hotel is great and we were able to sit in the garden, good food and wine choices.. great service.

    We had a really good stay in one of the cabins (number 5!). Friendly staff, cabin was clean and nice, and the facilities were all good. The pool was quiet and enjoyable. Near a supermarket, and nice walks from the camp through some woods, and to Wiltz with some interesting WW2 sights.
