Beautiful hotel with I credibly friendly and attentive staff. Delightful breakfast and one of the best beds I’ve ever slept in!! Iness and samira were brilliant. A true credit to the hotel. When I come back to Ouarzazate I will only stay at the OZ Palace.

The room had everything you would expect for this price . Breakfast was included and was great with typical morrocan stuff. The Lady on the front desk was very helpful and kind. She went above and beyond with all of our requests and even gave us some recommendations about some places to visit and restaurants. Few days before visiting this hotel, we went to Ibis hotel in Ouarzazate. Ibis was twice as expensive, breakfast was crap and room was super untidy and not maintained properly. I would choose this one everytime.

The staff at the reception were nice and helpful. The room was spacious and had many amenities, such as bootled water, a fridge and even tea. The bathroom was quite large and clean. The breakfast was also very good. The location was central, next to the main Ouarzazate road. There was also free parking for our rental in front of the hotel. Overall a great place to stay in Ouarzazate.

    With Studios to visit one day and Ait Benhaddou the next. While each place takes half day each to visit take two days and enjoy the relaxation around the hotel. Staying at The Atlas Studio Hotel your next door to the studios. But a drive for anywhere else

    We were disappointed in Ouarzazate.

    We were disappointed in Ouarzazate. It is cosmopolitan city but the area around was quite dismal. Unfortunately like so many places in Morocco, a country we love, it is drowning in rubbish. The highlight was visiting Ait Ben Haddou.

    Not only is Ouarzazate a pretty nice and vibrant place, there is much to explore around such as NooR, the most massive solar power station of the world, Atlas studios or Fint oasis. Recommended restaurants are La Datte d' Or, Ovelix and Habous patisserie.

    It is more laid back and less touristy than Marrakech.

    It is more laid back and less touristy than Marrakech. It's different culturally than Casa, Kech, or Tangier and has some unique attractions in and out of town. Oh, and don't forget to get the ghraiba cookies (like a pecan sandy) at Habbous in the main town square - the best I've had in the whole country.

    A good place for a short stay before going on to the coast, Atlas Mts or desert, driving tour etc. There's enough to see and do for a few days. The Taourirt Kasbah was partially closed at time of visit for repairs and there's a lot of construction work going around around there and the museum of cinema. A trip to the Atlas Film Studio (15 min taxi ride our of town) was worth it. If interested visit the Jewish Museum (old synagogue) in the old kasbah and get shown around a crazy house stuffed full of artefacts - mindblowing!

    This is the authentic Morocco.

    This is the authentic Morocco. There is so much to do and see in Ouarzazate, horse riding, camel riding, visiting ancient sites, visiting film studios, desert, visiting the old town, sunbathing, swimming in lakes, visiting gorges. The list goes on, It is safe and all the people are lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend.

    Last minute decision to stay here as there were issues with our previously booked accommodation, and we are so glad that was the case! Gorgeous Riad in a great location (5-10min walk into the Ouarzazate Medina for dinner). Rooms were clean and well stocked with everything you could need or desire. The owner was an absolute delight to deal with, and breakfast was delicious. This place was everything we needed as a mid-way stop during our drive from Merzouga to Essaouira. Highly recommend!!!

    The place itself is an absolute gem, beautiful, with every detail done with care, but more importantly, Mohamed, the host is a kind and truly wonderful person with great insight into ouarzazate. one of the best experiences I had not only in Morocco but during my very frequent travel in various places. Do yourself a favour and stay in Dar Kamar if only for a night or two. Could not recommend more. Daniel

    Exceptional hospitality and beautiful Riad. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, and the Riad offer the opportunity to have a truly home cooked meal there for dinner. We opted for this and it was a great decision!! I think the dinner was the best meal I had the whole time I was in Morocco (and the food is amazing in general!) Wholeheartedly recommend
