We had an amazing stay in Ouarzazate — a calm and beautiful town with very friendly, helpful people, a lively market, hidden gems like a fantastic local restaurant, and must-see spots like Atlas Studios and the Solar Farm — wow! We were lucky to meet Abdulrahman, our driver and tour guide, who showed us places we couldn’t have discovered on our own. We even travelled as far as Marrakech, through the High Atlas, and visited charming villages, picking figs straight from the gardens. It is more laid back and less touristy than Marrakech.
It is more laid back and less touristy than Marrakech. It's different culturally than Casa, Kech, or Tangier and has some unique attractions in and out of town. They have done an incredible job creating a beautiful place to stay for their guests. The riad is simply gorgeous. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We were served so much delicious food for breakfast. Many options and plenty of everything. We also ate dinner at the riad and my partner and I both agree that it was the best meal we've had in Morocco to date.
