Skoplje is simply amazing :) We expected to see the kitsch capital of this part of the world, but didn't think that it would be to this extent. Also, now I can understand Greeks' feelings about it. The second main point is Čaršija. It is big and attractive. Skopje is a mix of everything. They decided to "borrow" different things from different places, in a strange way. You can walk 2 minutes for the city centre "Macedonia Square", 3 minutes to city museum (old train station), etc. I always walked, which was not at all long. The price is good, considering the location and the inside (truthfully, the same cheap price for every other hostel in Balkans). The stuff (a guy) was very helpful. There is free coffee.
