    Lots to do in the city, and a must is a 2-3 day trip outside of the city. However, we are all experienced travellers and 2 out of 3 of us were pickpocketed for the first time in anywhere we've visited - they're experts! BEWARE PICKPOCKETS!

    Had to stay on gear as organising a tour. But 4 days would be enough. Nice enough city. Shopping malls ok, some rather funny with layout. Good coffeee and cafes. Lots of statues to look at. Genghis Khan statue worth a visit. Eagle holding amazing. Had a go at archery. Visit to turtle rock ok, not a difficult climb. Nice trek up to the monastery .

    Ulaanbatar hotel is a nice hotel with an authentic Mongol atmosphere. The staff is very forthcoming, the rooms are comfortable and clean and it is well located in one of the nicer districts of Ulaanbaatar. At check out the promised breakfast box wasn't there and it made me nervous that my room needed to be checked by the staff before I was let "off the hook" while I had to leave in order to catch my plane.

    The city gets a bad rap for being congested and full of traffic. I felt that it is good to stay at least a couple of nights to see the National Museum, the Changgis Khan Museum and visit some of the parks. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to see everything.

    Location is great, very friendly staff. Rooms were a great size and very clean. Just check your AC before unpacking your bags. The hotel has a great coffee shop in the lobby, which serves great coffee.

    All main attractions are around Sukhbaatar Square.

    All main attractions are around Sukhbaatar Square. If your hotel is a bit far from it, you may use a bus, they run very frequently, you don't need to wait long at the bus stop. I really recommend visiting a folk show for tourists at the drama theatre Үндэсний Урлагийн Их Театр. Some important tourist attractions are outside Ulaanbaatar, so book a tour to see Chinggis Khaan statue and visit Terelj National Park. For shopping I recommend Shangri-La Mall.

    Very comfortable hotel for a stay if visiting Ulaanbaatar. Spacious and comfortable room. Quiet and peaceful stay. Rooms complete with fridge/freezer and also a washing machine. Very friendly and helpful staff - who helped me organise a taxi for an airport transfer. Good location - only a short walk from the centre of Ulaanbaatar. Plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. Excellent value for money.

    The host was very hospitable and accomodating. The place is so comfortable with stable Wifi and even free coffee. I am definitely going back here if I come back to Ulaanbaatar. The host even arranged for my transfer to the airport early in the morning and provided free breakfast before I left. You can also pay in dollars or VISA/mastercard if you have limited tughriks converted.

    The hotel is very well situated near to the city center and Novotel. The surroundings are relatively quiet. The room is large, very clean and has everything you need for a good stay. Access is not easy, but this is normal for Ulaanbaatar, so you'll have to trust your driver. You can find plenty of restaurants in the area. The breakfast is good.
