Plenty of options with quality produce. Love the mauritian touches to the menu and staff was top notch. Entertainment was good. Swimming pool was clean and easily accessible. Shout out to the barman Arun. His cocktails were top class.

This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in as far as we can remember, we believe current rating (7.6?) does not do it justice since we would give it 10 stars. Everything was excellent, from huge family rooms (74 m2!), to food (French food with choice also on Indian, Asian etc), kids club - our kids were 3&5 (opened from 10-22.00, with possibility of kids dining with them so you can enjoy dinner alone), many fun activities. We also tried spa (husband had great massage), yoga (nice), family treasure hunt and many other activities. Facilities are great (pool, kids pool), resort is clean, well maintained, staff is beyond nice. We were on HB package and it suit us well, we ate lunch extra at resort every day and we do not find food pricey (European prices), drinks are a bit pricey (9 euros for beer), but still a lot cheaper than Dubai 5 star resorts we tried before. Husband also arranged for kitesurfing lessons (10minutes away, in the next resort) and we have to admit Mauritius is even kitesurfing paradise, flat lagoon, no people (2-4 kitesurfers at the time), great instructor. We hope to be back to Outrigger soon with 3 kids, we saw many big families and the extra kids room can fit 3-4 kids easily + they gifted us many free coffees, ice cream was free all the time, which is a nice gesture. Overall, 10/10, thank you very much for everything! PS: We even got early check in and late check out, so basically we got to stay there 8 days and paid for 7 nights. Excellent price/value ratio on 2nd week of January, looking at prices, first week of January would be too expensive and March and April as well, but we got great nightly rate and think it was totally worth the money.

We were staying at the hotel 2 nights. If we knew that we love it that much, we would choose to stay longer. From the check in moment you feel you are more than welcome here. All the staff members truly think of every detail you may need. We had breakfasts and dinners, which were so perfect, made of fresh products and served very nice. We have read some comments, that there are limited options of food, but this is boutique hotel with unique attitude, there only 11 chalets, and they can't offer buffet with unlimited products, which they will tbrow away later, it's wasteful. So it's more personal when you get what you want from the menu. And how cool is that option that your bed is made for you every evening? :) Oh, forgot to mention that chalet has the same entrance as the Chamarel park, so you enter it for free, just say that you are going to chalet (except sands, they are not included). But! Every time we entered the park we went to see waterfall :) Views are more than stunning, we have never seen more beautiful views than here. Thank you all for making our stay at Chalet unforgetible. Greetings from Latvia.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at KOA and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at this hotel truly set it apart. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, the restaurant, or housekeeping, was marked by professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering thoughtful touches that exceeded my expectations. The accommodations were impeccable—clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is a testament to the dedication of the entire team. A special thank you to Utam, Kavi and Dess for their outstanding service. It’s rare to encounter such a passionate and committed group of people, and they made my stay unforgettable. Really good facilities, excellent location (so peaceful), really friendly and helpful staff. Looks even better in person. Walkable distance to many attractions and good restaurants with excellent view point otherwise they can always help you get a taxi. Was really sad that the days passed by and I had to leave but definitely worth another visit next time! Shoutout to both Julie and Andrew for the excellent hospitality.

    the beach was lovely although a smokers & non smokers area is a nice option i would had prefered ... as i am a non smoker... the cleanliness and location was wonderful & gorgeous ! food options for buffet was good however the room service options ought to have more choice for dietry and enjoyment! entertainment was good and fun... also the water sports option was ideal ! kind welcoming staff who were sweet hosts! thankyou!

    Excellent location in an area that boasts greenery and nature at its best. Tamassa Bel Ombre is located next to two golf courses, a natural reserve and barely minutes away from other landmarks in Mauritius (south). Roads are safe - so it's easy to drive around but if you are after a complete relaxing holiday, venturing out of Tamassa is purely an extra then. The resort is fully equipped and offers a great opportunity for swimming, snorkeling, para-kiting in a well protected and clean bay.

    I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great...

    I stayed here with my 3 kids, the kids club looked great although we didn't use it. We stayed for 3 nights and that was enough for us to break the city routine of our everyday life. Krishna from the concierge organised a fun day out to Chamarelle where we saw the 7 sand earth, giant turtles and the magnificent waterfall. We ended the day at Curious Corner which the kids (and I loved).

    The area is quite simple but with a local character.

    The area is quite simple but with a local character. If you are looking for an authentic experience you will like it. We mostly cooked ourselves in the apartment and had dinner twice in a nearby cafe/restaurant. The facilities were simple but the fish dishes exceeded our expectations. You need a car to get around comfortably.

    For the Family:

    For the Family: My kids had an amazing time in the Activity centre with Kursley and Kingsley playing football ,volleyball and other sports. Bamboo fishing was also another activity which my kids enjoyed a lot. Staff were friendly and very professional. For the Adults: Great selection of restaurants & bars and activities. Wonderful staff.

    Bel Ombre is very beautiful, there are a lot of activities you can do there. It is also very close to Le Morne (20 minutes by car), where you can do hiking on the mountain, windsurfing, dolphin watching, or just enjoy the beautiful beach.

    Our holiday at the hotel was wonderful. Very good food, nice people, all the time they made sure that we didn't lack anything. Wiktor with the service a wonderful man. There are several restaurants in the hotel, so everyone will choose something for themselves. Beautiful golf course, great kids club. General manager great person, very friendly to guests, very helpful. It's a pity that the holidays pass so quickly.

    Very spacious pool and beach area. We had a problem with the airconditioning and got a late checkout as compensation. Good beach restaurant with fair prices for food. Nice foodtruck near the pool. Safe area. Nice hotels in the area to visit and get a drink.
