Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...
Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.Guest review byKateUnited Kingdom - 10

Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. Special thanks to Ramana team for the service during dinners and the head waitress Sylvana for making the breakfasts exceptional. We stayed in the beach suite, the room was cleaned twice a day and every time to perfection. The pool and the hotel beach is very nice too. View of the road and the fields, the road was not a problem, a short distance from the beach 100 m, the more beautiful public belle mare beach then approx. 500 m. I loved the beach which is both long and wide, seemed enough space for everyone. The room and the whole design of the hotel are cozy and you can find something to do in every corner. Also, the staff is welcoming and friendly and the food exquisite.
