Very nice place. very relaxing and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice set of swimming pools and direct access to the ocean. Food was very good and a lot of choices. The only downside is it is a bit too pricey.

The location of the hotel is perfect, it has the most beautiful beach just a few steps from the room. People are incredibly nice and friendly, always helpful, and really go the extra mile to make the guests happy. I got treated like a princess and the employees of this hotel are people I will never forget! Dj and live music at night were super nice. Many options for water sports and activities. I will definitely come back :)

Everything about our experience was perfect from the very beginning. We had an absolutely wonderful time on our vacation, and the entire staff did a fantastic job in making our stay truly unforgettable. Our time at the restaurants was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we were well cared for. Their thoughtful service truly elevated our entire stay. And the food, every single meal, was absolutely delicious from start to finish! A special mention goes to Ram, whose outstanding hospitality in the restaurants turned our dinners into something far beyond a 4-star experience. He made each evening feel extra special, and we’re incredibly grateful for his dedication and charm. I also have to mention the stunning beach right in front of the hotel. It’s by far the most beautiful stretch of coastline in the entire area. Crystal clear water, soft sand, and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Mauritius is truly something special, a perfect blend of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and unforgettable experiences. We would absolutely return to this hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at C Mauritius. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our stay feel special. I have had the good fortune to visit Mauritius on 3 prior occasions. For my recent family vacation, and 4th trip to the island, we chose Lux Belle Mare, a fabulous resort located on the east coast. We stayed in the Pool Suite for 3 nights and the Prestigious Villa for the next 3 nights. My family and I had a delightful and memorable week at Lux and were really impressed with so many great aspects of this wonderful resort. We enjoyed the warm and welcoming hospitality, the assistance and dedication of all the staff, and the facilities and restaurants. I personally enjoyed the wide buffet selection as well as the dessert counter. The desserts were truly unique and delightful. We were wowed every night with the special desserts available, especially on Easter Sunday! One would have to try really hard to find anything to fault at Lux Belle Mare, especially at the villa. It was large and luxurious in detail, and well maintained. All needs were carefully and promptly taken care. There is no doubt in my mind that when I visit the island again, Lux will be my destination. If you are thinking of Lux as one of your options, I would recommend that you don't think twice - you won't be disappointed! Special acknowledgement to the resort managers Umesh, Suren and Leelesh, as well wonderful assistance received from Jennifer for my wife's birthday celebrations, Gopi for travel logistics and assistance from Rao during our stay at the villa. Thank you all at Lux Belle Mare!

Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge. Kudos to that! There was also many safety signs. Thank you for hosting us Mau Lakaz.

    Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

    A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

    The experience at The Residence Hotel was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to provide anything you needed. For example, my wife isn’t a fan of seafood, and they prepared a special dinner just for her, different from the menu that night. The hotel’s design makes it feel as if the beach is a part of the hotel itself, which was truly unique. We enjoyed sitting on the hotel’s deckchairs just 2 meters from the beach, even at night. It was an experience like no other, and we will definitely be coming back.

    Excellent value for money. We had breakfast and dinners included in our rate and both were good. Staff are brilliant, extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and small tv. It's a 2 star hotel with pool, but exceptional value for money. Everywhere is clean and rooms are tidied each day. Recommend for a budget stay, everything else in Belle Mare is much more expensive.

    This was our second visit to the St Géran - where we celebrated our anniversary one year on from our wedding on the beach there. It was another wonderful experience and everything was done to the highest standard. One thing that’s notable about the hotel is the number of returning guests and we recognized several from last year. That must surely be the best recommendation of all ……

    The staff were exceptional, they looked after your every need from the moment you arrive. The hotel has a lovely relaxed feel and never seems overcrowded. It’s the best AI hotel that we have ever stayed in. The food is all fresh, there is lots of variety and it’s all very tasty. The AI drinks menu is extensive and all cocktails are made fresh, not pre-prepared mixes.
