The place is really well kept and very cosy. We liked very much and the host was very friendly and had several nice suggestions for us. That area is very hilly but that is common in the island. We felt romantic in such a cute place and as we were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary that day, we got some nice souvenirs. Would definetly recommend.

This was my second stay at Ocean V. As always, the service was impeccable and one of a 6 stars hotel. The staff is very attentive to your needs and they pamper you from day 1 to your very last day. They are very helpful for anything you need. The breakfast offers great options if you are a vegetarian. The food is delicious. The Chef also tailors to your dietary habits. That's how attentive the whole staff is. He even accepted special orders I made (a 20 slices birthday cake for my friend). They offer tea time for free envy day. The hotel is very modern. The rooms are very spacious and super neat. You sleep so well even though it is close to the street when cars pass by, you don't hear a sound and will sleep like a baby. The rooftop pool has a spectacular view on the Indian Ocean. It is never crowded so at times, you will have the pool just for yourself. It is very conveniently located to great diving centres and the best one being (mybasediving) and conveniently located 5 min walk to the beach. It is also close to the many shops in Grand baie and all the nice restaurant and going-out area.

Perfect location, overlooking the beach and 2 minutes to access the beach. On lovely Mon Choisy beach - away from the hustle and bustle of Grand Bae but close enough to access the activities there. Fabulous staff. Great breakfast menu - so much better than a buffet. Would definitely return!

    It is a beautiful hotel with a spectacular view. everything was clean, food delicious and friendly staff. What I really loved: possibility to refill your own bottle, even get a free water bottle you can use. The hotel tries to be green, and it shows. The free use of kayaks, sups and pedal boats. We had a blast.

    Fantastic boutique hotel; enormous rooms; top quality new furnishings everywhere; extremely friendly staff offering a personal service; excellent breakfasts and dinner. Very enjoyable, non-intrusive, live music during dinner three times a week. Free bikes and helmets were useful too.
