We (3 rooms, 5 people) chose this location based on the other reviews praising it. They were 1000% accurate. This was the best experience in Maldives, and we've stayed in several places on several islands. Areef, the host, is a wonderful person and friend; he did his absolute best to provide us the best experience on the island, around the island, and his villa. He took us on a free trip to a nearby uninhibited island with an old/closed resort, we had the whole island all for ourselves. He showed us the best snorkeling spots, the best places to eat, the whole island. He took us on trip to see the whale sharks and manta rays and turtles, and unlike other boats, he did his best to position us perfectly to see these giants. He even stayed longer and continued to scan the area until we found a second group of manta rays, which we swam with all alone. With everything, he really tried his best to please you. And this is what matters most. He even offered us small coconut trees to take home with us as a souvenir. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, we were offered free snorkeling gear, he even found masks for us instead of goggles. If we return to Maldives, we will definitely visit Areef again!

Staff is the best ever! Amazing people, with whom we shared 11 fantastic days! We became friends with Isha (Ikko), Liv, grandma, Siro, Ali, Nade and pretty much everyone else - cooks, cleaning staff etc. (apologies for mistyping or forgetting to mention your names :)). They helped us so much and made our stay a dream come true! During our stay thanks to the excursions Perla organized for us we saw and swam multiple times with whale sharks, mantas, turtles, pods of dolphins, sting rays and also swam with nurse sharks and went to a beautiful shipwreck for snorkelling. On top of that they sent us amazing go pro footage from the excursions for free! We saw local traditions and sampled exotic food during a local festival and it all felt like being part of one big family. We went for a day to a fancy resort nearby but honestly, we would recommend Perla over any modern resort as in Perla Dhangethi you have everything you need on an exotic local island for the fraction of the price one would have to pay at a resort and as a bonus you meet so many cool people from around the world! We will definitely come back soon!

Shaamyn had been the most graceful and helpful host ever! He was very helpful, responsive and even organized a night fishing excursion for us on his boat and even help us prepared the fish and grilled it. They do housekeeping for our rooms and change new towels for us every day. Breakfast was simple but delicious and they specifically catered to our schedule for breakfast. We can even eat at the nearby restaurants and charge it to our tab which we paid back to Shaamyn before we left. Shaamyn even offered to exchange to the local currency with very reasonable rates. The venue is very near to the Bikini Beach (within 2-3 minutes walk). The island itself is pretty small and can be covered within 20-30 minutes. The sandy beach is very fine and clean. If you are looking for privacy and less touristy island, then this place is highly recommended.

Lovely place in a lovely, small inhabitated island. We had a double room with ocean view. The hotel has a private beach which is the venue of the meals and also a place where one can go snorkeling, kayaking or try the SUP. Bikini beach is only a few minutes by walk. Staff is nice and friendly, always at disposal, food is excellent. The hotel has its own diving centre so they can offer a wide range of programs, activities. The entire staff is professional and helpful, we loved this place, thank you, Endheri group!

The clean swimming pool and inviting garden sofas were perfect for relaxation and work. We liked everything from the very beginning, from the moment we met until we left. Akhmed is a very attentive and caring host. Our plane was delayed and we did not have time to catch the speedboat. Akhmed was constantly in touch and agreed speedboat on another time. After an hour and a half ride by speedboat, we were met by Akhmed on Dhangethi Island. When we met, he gave us a branded T-shirt and a coconut. We liked the hotel, a cozy room, everything was there, the air conditioning was silent. The hotel is located in the center, close to grocery and souvenir shops. The hotel has a kitchen, you can cook food, there is free water, tea, coffee, cakes and a veranda on which you can sit and eat. Excursions with Ahmed are a separate issue. He is a great expert in this matter. The next day we went on a manta ray excursion and swam with them, it was amazing. Akhmed films everything with his camera and then provides the video and photos for free. The next day he took us on a whale shark tour and we swam with it. My wife didn’t have time to swim after the whale shark, so Akhmed put her on his boat, they caught up with the whale shark, jumped into the water, he took her hand and literally took her to the whale shark. That was great! There were also excursions to the sand bank and snorkeling. In general, the week on the island flew by very quickly. As a farewell, Akhmed gave us more souvenir magnets. There is a lot more to tell, but we invite you to come and see everything for yourself. Thanks to Akhmed. We'll definetely come back. P.S. We ate at the Compass restaurant, stingrays swim there in the evening, you can feed them, and my wife constantly fed them and pet them. Super!

Lily Beach was the best hotel we've stayed at in the Maldives. The resort itself was fabulous - best food we've had in the Maldives, service was great and our room beautiful. Spa was great, kids loved the kids club activities, fishing trip and playground. We went snorkelling with whale sharks, mantas, turtles and also did night snorkelling where we saw nurse sharks, reef sharks, lion fish, turtles sleeping and more. The pet parrot on the island was a bonus for our 5 year old! We had so much to do we didn't use the watersports centre. The app was also very useful - to the point and easy to use.
