We decided to travel by bus to see the country side. Ameca was a logical stop to get from central Mexico to the west coast. It is not that small. But it seemed dusty in many places with neglected dirt roads . I walked to the bus station from the NG hotel. Crossing the highway at daytime is the only time I dared to cross it by a traffic light. I walked on 16 de Septiembre Street and even the leaves of the trees had lots of dust. The crossing street looked the same. On the other hand going back to the hotel by foot on Cardenal José Salazar Street, on the block close to the hotel the street is paved with good sidewalks and very large expensive houses that occupied the entire building lots, with beautiful facades. The highway is dusty along the town. Before reaching the bus station there is a bridge with a river. I liked that.
