Hotel Esmeralda is a little gem tucked away in Atlixco. We stayed for a family wedding but would happily have stayed for longer. There was a lovely clean, heated pool with relaxed seating and a very pleasant outdoor area for dinner and breakfast. The best place to eat in Atlixco the flavors of the land is at @lucia_1950_cocinadepueblo del @manuel_rosas90. Not to be missed. On Sundays there is a flower market in the main square and on Saturdays you must go to the market to see the colors and splendor of regional agriculture.
