Lovely new hotel. The location in the old town was perfect - just behind the square, and a few blocks from Olas Atlas beach. Everything was clean and new and stylish.

The people are friendly. Check in was fast and easy. The location was in an area were it was accessible to the malecon, the beach, plaza machado, stores and restaurants.

The room was near the elevator and stairway. Drinking water daily and a single serving coffee maker in the room. Nice city view. Ample plug-ins. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Room safe. We were on an eclipse tour with my fiancée’s undergraduate group, completed that organized segment of our time and wanted to move away from the Americanized hotel area. So, as I did in the 1970s, I sought out another tegion of Mazatlan. The hotel was excellent and we were told of two superb nearby restaurants.
