Isla Aguada is now a magical pueblo and it has a ways to go...
Isla Aguada is now a magical pueblo and it has a ways to go to live up to that name. It is a scrubby town that is trying to improve. We were there off season and on a Monday when most things were closed, so it is probably much more lively in the summer. Lots of seafood restaurants and the main draw is that a boat will take you out to see the dolphins. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was great fun and we saw a lot of dolphins. Our guide told us the time from March to August is better, the water is calmer and clearer and there are more dolphins, plus sea turtles.Guest review byTrinaMexico

The place itself was well located to break our journey after a long drive from Calakmul.
