Jocotepec is a small traditional Mexican town on the shores of Lake Chapala. There are some stores along the main highway. The central square in the town is classically Mexican, with some charm. The neighborhoods that comprise the town are old and rundown, and the housing we saw for residents reminds one that not all of us have beautiful homes, backyards and pools. Also the security of parking was great. Lots of parking spaces and super secure.. The only problem for me was to find the location, because the very small streets were find to find, especially for people who never been in Mexico before.
