There was no breakfast with the room price. The hotel is just three to four minutes from the charming main plaza. There are places to get breakfast either a la carte or a buffet for 120 pesos. Make sure you are clear first where the hotel is located. It is not difficult to find but if the taxi driver doesn’t know the hotel you might end up having a short and stressful tour before finding it. I come back to the same gripe again about travelling alone. Often, not always , you might end up in what might appear to be a spare room, often told that all other rooms are occupied. I spent two nights in a windowless, but otherwise perfectly good, albeit very small, room. For the third night I arranged to move into much nicer room off the garden area, which suited me and made me happy. If you want to sit outside , there is a comfortable garden area where you can look at the sky. There is an archeological site which can be reached by colectivo from the town. This site is hardly visited but quite exceptional. If you wish to linger for three or more hours, which I did, it is very contemplative.

The location was very central to the big bus station and close to colectivos to various tourist attractions. Oscar and Andrea (owners), both offered to drive me places for free. In fact, Oscar drove me to a colectivo terminal for my archeological excursion and also to Tzimol for my canyoning excursion. They allowed me to take a towel with me canyoning, although the excursion promised to be pretty dirty. Oscar and Andrea are lovely, loving people and very helpful.
