The location steps away from the beach in a quieter area of town that is easily walkable to the main strip. The property is very tranquil with lots of trees, plants and flowers and there were places to relax by the pool. The rooms were a good size, nice and clean, and had a tropical vibe. There was no AC, but I didn't mind as there was a good size fan in the room and it would cool down a bit at night. The staff was super friendly and would bring you fruit, yogurt, toast and some much needed coffee.

We visited Bahia de la Luna for our honeymoon and it was honestly a paradise beach, so private and secluded and stunning. The food at the hotel was incredible, which is great because there’s nowhere else around. We even booked an extra night to stay as we loved it so much!

Great location above the beach (at 5 minutes walk) with friendly staff and good food made from fresh ingredients and of course lots of seafood. Loved the spacious rooms, terrace, privacy and infinity pool.

Would recommend Casa Rush for anyone wanting to trying out Puerto Angel (the more rural of the downs on the Oaxaca coast). We had a great time here and might have even preferred it to Mazunte! The rooms were simple but clean and the pool was a blessing during the heat. Breakfasts in the morning were a lovely inclusion. The hotel is just a short walk uphill from the town so really easy to get about to and from Make sure you go to El Rincon Del Cafe for dinner on the beach. Great food and drinks and lovely views (the fish/prawns are fantastic!)

    I am pretty sure the question is asking about Zipolite in particular. It is a great place for a beach vacation. The small commercial area is walkable from most of the hotels. The restaurants are good. The area has a hippie vibe. The question may be about Pochutla the nearby town. It is not touristy but does have a nice, but small, Centro area with an old church and a mercado. It can easily be reached by bus or taxi from Zipolite.
