Excellent clean beaches, especially La Madera uncrowded and delicious restaurants, especially on the beaches. Wonderful shopping celebrating the creativity and the diversity of the artistic products produced by the local Mexican people. Walkable. Safe. Shared shuttle & taxi available for longer distances. Beautiful weather, beautiful town, the airport is a super quick customs experience, people are super friendly and as always (I’ve probably travelled to Mexico 20+ times) I didn’t feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any moment. Great energy along the promenade.
Great energy along the promenade. Lots of expat retirees and local families. The town has covered sidewalks to keep you out of the heat. Many different beaches with completely different vibes. We preferred Maderas beach for cleanliness and walking distance to town. Playa la ropa was super crowded - we didn’t stay. Playa Troncones is wonderful, quiet, you can hear the waves on the open ocean - not for swimming with children, strong undertow.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The apartment is large, bright with nice balcony, good value for price. With a little work it could be a very nice apartment. The neighbourhood was very local, safe and friendly. Easy transportation (Colectivo's) right in front of the apartment to go into Zehua centro (12 Pesos) or Ixtapa (17 pesos), same to return. Taxis stand one block away with prices listed. Small stores and a fresh tortilla shop across the street came in handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would return.Guest review byGaryCanada

The entire property is stunning... serene, beautifully decorated, super clean and cozy. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and completely made us feel at home. Breakfast was divine - healthy and tasty, cooked to order by the most lovely chef. The view from our room was incredible and the pool and garden area are gorgeous, the perfect place to cool down after a day exploring. There is a BBQ available for use that is either propane or briquette. It's a 5 minute walk to La Ropa beach. Luís was friendly and always helpful.
