The Double with Seaview is properly the best for privacy and separation from the main decks. The people - Tone, Helene, Joy, June and Ping. Amazing good people who made the trip more personal. Thank you, I will always remember you. Lots of turtles around lodge at night. Broken shower water heater was replaced quick smart when issue was encountered. Three meals a day included - Malaysian style home cooking, plus they are open to cook catch from passing fishermen who visit - for a fee. Healthy snorkelling coral sites with lots of fish and turtles.

We had a wonderful stay at Parapat Water Village Resort. The chalet was nice and clean, and the food was delicious. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and we truly appreciated the hospitality.

The resort is in a beautiful, peaceful spot surrounded by nature, which feels like such a nice escape from the busy town. The free hourly shuttles made it really easy to get in and out of Semporna, and arranging pickup through WhatsApp was super convenient. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and far enough from the dining area that we couldn’t hear the karaoke at night. Speaking of which, the karaoke was actually a lot of fun when we joined in and made it easy to meet other guests. Breakfast and dinner were both very tasty, and on our last day the manager thoughtfully packed us an early breakfast with coffee, toast, jam, bananas, biscuits, crackers, and more, which was such a nice touch.

It was amazing! We wanted to go diving somewhere and Timba Garden was recommended to us. Chai (the owner) was so helpful and kind, he even got us to dive! He could arrange it for the next day. Even when we arrived at 21:00 in the evening Chai asked us if we had dinner and he took us to an amazing Indian place. And every night after he took us somewhere, all was great. The room was so good, it was chill and the bed was very comfortable. Also the bathroom was very good, nice shower and good toilet. It also had a nice ambiance to it, you could go out and there were lights everywhere. When we go back to Semporna, we will definitely stay here again. 10/10 would recommend!!

Chan Living - thank you for such a wonderful stay!! The staff members were so friendly and exceptional, making us feel welcomed. We had fresh towels everyday and housekeeping was excellent - the property was always kept so clean and tidy. Free shuttle services to the jetty in the morning was so great for island hopping! The breakfast buffet had good variety (especially catering towards ppl with different dietary requirements as my friends were vegan and vegetarian, and delicious too. The boss’ son was a wonderful and friendly individual, super helpful when asked about queries such as local food in Semporna and going out of his way to help us. He was the best!! You could do your laundry here for free as well, which was super helpful! For foreigners travelling alone, this place makes you feel right at home and safe. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here and definitely recommend this place to everyone.
