The location is perfect being less that 5 minute grab to the beach or a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself is clean and has been recently renovated. The rooms were lovely and the staff were unbelievable. They provide a welcome drink once you check in and my girlfriend mentioned how she liked it. When we were checking out, the kind bar man had made us a whole bottle for us take away with us! Fabulous generosity. The pool is wonderful and I like the fact there is an open field behind, makes you feel like you’re in nature. Let’s not even talk about the fact it’s 20 Ringgit for three beers! The price is great for what you get and we will definitely be back if we ever visit Langkawi again.

The hotel is very clean. We had a family room which was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. However because we were at the new years eve time the pool beds were often full and there isnt much space to lounge. The location was brilliant as its in walking distance to cenang area and malls. There are mini markets around for massages and meals.

Best hotel we had in Malaysia. Very friendly receptionist, giving great recommendation what to do on the island. They also have a scooter rental, and can book tours for you (same price as all other agencies). Great service, great breakfast. Free airport shuttle Would definitely come again.

As a second visit to the Riyaz, it did not disappoint. Having previously stayed in a junior suite, this time as travelling with other family we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was huge, had almost everything we required, and was even better than the junior suite. The swimming pool area is great and the staff are very attentive.

Mercure Langakawi Team were a delight! We loved every moment we spent here. We had an amazing personell at the service desk, Room service, Bar area , pool area even at the breakfast area . We felt very welcome and well taken care of by Mizan and the rest of the crew. The hotel is beautifully located, 200m away from the beach,but two minutes away from the mall , starbucks, kfc ,other eateries, money exchange etc. Our room was SPACIOUS and had great views ..we could see the hills from our balcony. The amenities in the hotel are top notch. The bathroom is spacious and well thought through ( i wouldn`t expect any less standard from mercure!) The hotel landing is gorgeous , giving beach vibes !!The welcoming drinks a treat ! The breakfast was sumptous and we actually enjoyed having our breakfast at the hotel restaurant balcony. the bed was comfy. We were sad to be leaving but will certainly be back.

Very nice and helpful staff. Tranquil location but not really far from the town center. Good gym in a hotel standard. Excellent meals that they served. I have spent 5 meals in the restaurant in my 2 nights stay and I have never got disappointed. Cusines are delicious and marking at very reasonable prices. I will definitely stay at the hotel if I have another chance.
