The beach in Maputo is a little dirty water and not for activities. If one wants the beach activities the place is Bilene. It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back...
It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back here. Nothing struck me as welcoming or as a real taste of Mozambique. The beach doesn't seem maintained or safe. Only 2 things I loved, the Radisson Blu Hotel and the South Beach Restaurant & Bar, those were my highlights. I found the country pricey as well.Guest review byAnonymous

Reasonably priced rooms with free shuttle to/from the nearby airport, and the location is in a nice and safe neighbourhood. The hotel’s restaurant serves great food and has a spacious area to chill so I didn’t feel the need to get outside the place at all.
