Both the landscape and the facility are amazing and we would recommend to stay here on the way between Swakopmund and Etosha. Food was good but not extraordinary and we found that service could be a little bit improved sometimes, but overall we had a wonderful and stress-free stay. We had dinner at the Eagle's Nest just after watching sunset from the near deck (they start to serve food after sunset), but at that time outside is too dark to actually dine with a view. We could have just gone up to the view deck before dinner, watch the sunset there and go back to the lodge to have dinner there - that way we could have saved 100 NAD per person. But anyway, overall it was fantastic.

Huge thanks to the whole lodge team! Everyone was super friendly, the food was great and the setting was beautiful. The owner is super welcoming and takes the time to chat with guests, which gives the place a relaxed, homey vibe. The view is absolutely stunning, and it's amazing to see the rhinos so close if you get the chance!

    Just an amazing stay.

    Just an amazing stay. We were friendly taken care of by mngr. Asser and his staff all the way. We stayed the night at their "Heavens Gate" bungalow - all by it self on top of the mountain. A short walk up the hill from the lodge, but sure worth it. Great dinner at the Eagles Nest. Amazing landscape all around. Incredible sunset. Everything worked out fine. We will be back.

    The lodge was born in the middle of nature, it is not...

    The lodge was born in the middle of nature, it is not impactful and it is very pleasant. It is possible to take a walk in the surrounding areas, towards the Rock Finger, or on the plateau with a wonderfull scenic view on the little Monument Valley of Namibia. The food is good, the bed is very comfortable. There are two swimming pools with panoramic views, it's all very relaxing and welcoming. I would have liked to have stayed longer. Good price, not only for luxury guest.
