We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to...
We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to view animals in Etosha National Park. The terrain here (unlike Numatoni) is vast and flat. Animals are few and far between but with persistance and great binoculars we spotted a Black Rhinocerous, elephants, zebra, springbok, oryx, giraffe, ostriches, and 1 lion, all during daylight hours. The food is best OUTSIDE the park. There is NO fuel in the ENTIRE park! The “Trading Post” is the nearest fuel to this village (less than 10km). We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park. There is no information about the rugged dirt roads in the park. We were happy to leave the park without an accident or car broken. The nature is always near and you can see at least a lot of different birds. The room was big and it was cleaned every day. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast and dinner with a lots of different food options and there's also a bar from where to get drinks. We had couple different massages while we were here and they were excellent. They also offer game drives to Etosha. There is a lot of wildlife in the hotel gardens/grounds and that is really the selling ticket for me --- one shouldn't have to go to a park to see wildlife in Africa.
