Leon is a pretty and interesting city. We enjoyed a walking tour and the art museum was absolutely fantastic. We also really enjoyed doing a few trips from here - to the beach/mangroves at Las Penatas, and a volcano hike. Beautiful, historic and young student city.
Beautiful, historic and young student city. Wish I stayed longer here! Museum of the Revolution explained the history and context of Leon so well, would highly recommend. The old part of town is a quaint colonial place with a lot of restaurant options; I recommend the small food tour offered to see the market and learn about the different fruits and dishes. The double room has a lot of day light, nice view and a direct access to a rooftop terrace with a chill zone. Everyone working here is very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast (either Nica or pancakes with fruit) and a generous dose of coffee made my mornings here even more enjoyable.
