Absolutely everything! The staff went out of their way to assist with absolutely every hurdle I stumbled across. All of the staff did their best to speak English which I appreciated so much. The location was fantastic. Just 2 blocks from the metro and 2 blocks from the train station also. 12 euros in a taxi to get into the city. From the metro you can get to centraal station and hop on a ferry or canal boat, hop on hop off bus, train, tram etc. I flew to Ibiza after Amsterdam with no checked luggage allowance. It was no problem to leave my cases with them until I return. I took the breakfast option and so glad I did. Each morning I had a fresh roll with egg and Brie and a fresh juice. I’m not a granola person but I gave it a go anyway. They have an honesty system for snacks, drinks and hot beverages which was great. I made use of the VIP lounge downstairs for an hour, it was great to freely socialise late without annoying anyone in the camp. The staff even did my washing for a small fee and lent me their own personal phone charger! It rained quite a few times over the couple of days I was there, having previously traditionally camped before my arrival at the outside inn, it was so great to be able to shower and use the bathroom and hang things out to dry without having to worry about the weather! I had the absolute cutest caravan. I was the envy of a few other campers. When I arrived I said the only thing missing is a flamingo! Next minute off she runs and comes back with one.. seriously lol. The bed was a little hard for me but the pillows were fantastic! I wanted to take one with me! I’m not sure I will be back to Europe but if I am this is where I will stay. I hope I didn’t leave anything out. I HIGHLY recommend for singles, couples, families, anyone wanting a friendly quiet place with everything you need! Thanks to all of the beautiful staff!

Room was big, with all facilities as described, check in was swift and easy, Joey at the reception desk was a star. Check in and check out was just a button away. Meet fredrica at the bistro...she was so helpful and made the bistro experience wow. She was the reason why we arlte twice at the restaurant

    Abcoude is a great place to stay if you’re travelling between, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. Very good intercity link, at Abcoude station. The town itself is very picturesque and has some nice features as well as restaurants and bars.

    Abcoude is a picture postcard town about 30 minutes south of Amsterdam with good public transport options as well as plenty of cycling paths. There are lovely restaurants to suit many tastes and a regular farmers market. There's a good bakery and at least two good supermarkets for self caterers. The canals through the town on the Gein River are beautiful. I found out after our visit that this pretty place was an inspiration to the painter Piet Mondrian when he was studying art and I can see why. We mainly walked through the area and felt safe at all times.

    Lovely village with nice restaurants and shops.

    Lovely village with nice restaurants and shops. Easy access to a multitude of cycle paths into the beautiful dutch countryside with windmills, forts and gorgeous houses and boathouses to see on the way. Easily reached by train from Schiphol.

    Small village with everything you need in it , couple of...

    Small village with everything you need in it , couple of supermarkets, restaurants, butcher , tobacco shop, chemist, bakery etcOllie’s coffee do fantastic toasties and Koekienbier restaurant/pub has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. The village public transport service is very good with buses and a train station that runs trains into Amsterdam every 15-20 minutes or so. The people are very nice and friendly and everyone seems to be speaking English very well so no communication issues for us at all. From what we could see it is a farming village and we did notice there is a lingering smell of what we think it’s manure especially on the outskirts of the village, we visited in February at 3 degree, I assume in the summer might be even stronger.

    Lots of small local shops for food, drink, etc. Pastries nearby delightful, coffee shops short walk away, Thursday market across the road for fruit, veg, cheese, meat, etc. Host showed where to safely park our car for the duration, very safe.

    The flat is beautiful, well equipped and nicely decorated. The quiet country setting is a welcome rest from the chaos of Amsterdam. There is plenty of free parking and the WiFi worked without issues. Getting something to eat is only a 6-8 minute drive to Weesp. If you plan to go to Amsterdam drive the 5 minutes to the Park and Ride lot and board the subway for the 25 minute ride to downtown.

    This place is beautiful! I will definitely be going back. The apartment was modern and well decorated, and I had the best sleep in the bed. The breakfast was delicious, was really nice having a coffee and chatting to the staff member who was there to cook breakfast. I rented a bike and had a couple of nice trips in to Amsterdam, a cruisy 45 min cycle. The owners were lovely, always came for a chit chat and even topped up my wine one evening when I was sat in the garden. One of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had.

    It is a very well rounded experience. Also, being a bar/restaurant is very convenient, breakfast was delicious, with very good options to choose from. If you choose to dine there, you won't regret it. Transfer to Amsterdam is very easy and a beautiful bus ride
