The hotel is located close t the park, just a few minutes walking from the bus. The hotel is a piece of art, designed in an old Train Station building. My room was on the last floor, with a nice view to the park. On the entrence door there was written my name. I didn't order breakfast in advance but I had changed my mind in between and wanted to pay for a coffee with croiassant but instead I got it for free, served in the most magical place downstairs, in a room full of plants and flowers. The hotel was a perefct choice, and I am sure I will come back there with my family.

As first customers of the hotel, we had a super experience that exceeded our expectations. Our room in the capsule hotel is tiny but with all the comforts of a regular sized room. A lot of mirrors around the room will make you feel at ease with its reduced size. A plus goes to the bathroom and the great shower. Travel time by bike : The location of the hotel will let you join the Amsterdamse Bos in 5 minutes, Amsterdam Zuidas in 10 min, Amsterdam Centrum in 25 minutes max. Great bikes by the way: ! we recommend you to use the hotel rental service. On top of that we also had breakfast for free ! :) we will consider coming back to the diamond capsule hotel in the future. Thank you

The Best Western Plus Hotel Amstelveen is a good choice for a business trip. It was a pleasure to spend time at this hotel. Breakfast was included and it was tasty and fresh. I don't know why in some other reviews I saw some awful testimonials. For me this hotel is good.

    Reasonable cost for parking (anywhere in Europe frankly) is my motivation to look outside of centre of city areas and then use local transport or walk. Parking costs at hotels in our budget in Amsterdam city were very high - secure convenient Q-park station in Amsterveen was E18 per day compared to E40-50 a day at hotels closer to the centre.

    I loved the very name from the start!

    I loved the very name from the start! My first impressions the moment I arrived were positive, the younger lady at the reception gave me useful instructions on how to reach the centre of Amsterdam, which buses and trams to take; helpful with calling the taxi; the choice of food and drinks for the breakfast was vast and abundant, the lady very discrete and kind; other persons at the reception desk also very kind and helpful; I also loved the beautiful and friendly cat waiting for me sleeping in the armchair in front of the hotel, when I arrived late in the evening, giving that "being at home" impression. Really lovely!

    I was basically in Amsterdam.

    I was basically in Amsterdam. The transfer is easy with public transports. The surround area of the Hotel is not nice. There's a empty building in one side very creepy. and in the other side there's a field full of trash and old stuff.

    A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam.

    A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Close to the airport so there is a little bit of noise from the planes, but it wasn't bad at all. We enjoyed staying there rather than the busyness of the city centre, and it was cost effective.

    Use public transport where possible as its easy, clean, efficient and good value for money. Would recommend Villa Borghese and Gusto as nice restaurants for an evening out. Stadshart shopping centre has everything you need and with the Amstelveen bus station and tram stop next door you have easy bus or tram rides into the city.

    Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon.

    Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon. However the people in the pizza place were chatty and smiley none the less. Can imagine it's a lovely little place to visit in the summer when people venture outside to eat on the quaint little terraces. It is very pretty

    Traveling with hire car so we chose out of Amsterdam central area in order to have reasonable priced secure parking option and an apartment for our 4 night stay. Q-Park garage was 150m away from hotel which we pre-booked and all worked well. Drop off and pick up of luggage at hotel off-street area. Good sized fridge and washing /drying machine. Tram #5 to Amsterdam 150m away.

    The room was very large, clean and confortable. The hotel is very nice and clean. The breakfast was good. Location is a bit far from Amsterdam but we arrived there by car, so it was ok. There is a tram going from the hotel area (station at 10 min walking distance) to the city (at Zuid metro station) and we bought a 2 days transport pass, so it was convenient.

    The rooms are huge and clean. Good choice at breakfast. Commute to Amsterdam quite straightforward, 10 mins walk to tram station. The number 25 tram takes you to Zuid metro station in about 25 minutes. The hotel sells the travel cards which is 7 euros for 24 hrs. There is a covered parking at back of the hotel.

    Nice, quiet apart-hotel in Amsterdam suburbs, with all employees very friendly and helpful. Wonderful rooftop restaurant, serving great breakfasts with plenty of choice. Excellent location not so far from city centre - Rijskmuseum 20 minutes by tram and Centraal Station 30 minutes by tram and subway.
