Very nice location, close enough to the city of Alkmaar, nice restaurants nearby. Beautiful view when getting out of the tent. Fire pit and freshly cut wood was a bonus! There is a donkey and other animals that could possibly wake you up a little bit earlier then expected but this adds to the whole expirience!

Very unique property in a beautiful city. Each room is unique and we loved the vaulted ceiling and wooden beams in our room. A Labour of love for the owner whose mother used to run a dance studio on the premises. Each room has a record player along with a selection of vinyl. Parking nearby in a park house is heavily subsidized.

College Hotel is a great place to stay when exploring the beautiful town of Alkmaar! Shout out to the super friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast (fresh bread, cheese, meat, eggs, yogurt). Rooms are large and the only sounds are from the seagulls! Parking is available on site (15 euro/day). Supemarket and restaurants are steps away (try De Binnen Komer). We also enjoyed the summer cheese market!

Hotel King's Inn is very well located not far from the center - about 5 minutes walk. Rooms clean, quite spacious, very well furnished. Staff nice, willing to help with everything and fully professional. Breakfasts are varied, everyone chooses their own (ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, sweet croissants, muffins.....). The stay can be paid by card or in cash. I highly recommend everyone to use it to the fullest.
