Location location location :) you're at a farm where you can have long discussions with the cows in today's fields or you can take a walk or cycle in to town. The market in Winterswijk is fantastic and lots to see in the town e en though Google does not show it. The tent has a bed, kettle , table and chairs... fantastic.

Clean,quiet,good taste. Location very good if you want some quiet time and just want some long walks in nature. 10mins drive to the next city in Holland,and a few minutes from the german border. The onebedroom appartment that we took, was really nice,had a big double bed,comfy mattress, and was a perfect size. No possibility to cook, but we were not expecting to cook either. Expresso coffee machine with tabs,microwave,toaster and basic cutlery available. Outside the room, a terrasse with table and 4 chairs. Around 15 mins walk, a Backfisch Caravan,really delicious. You get a small bag when you come on first day,with a map of the region and all the attractions nearby( Parks,Farmhouses where you can pick tea leaves or flowers for eg.)

The Heerlyckheid is a beautiful boutique hotel in Bredevoort, near Winterswijk. The facilies and the ambience is amazing. As guest you can enjoy diner at the restaurant, however, we had other plans so no experience. De hotel is situated on the main square of the city, and on the square there is also a local brewery, De Borgman, with a large terrace whereas you can enjoy local beers with friends and family. We really enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast was good quality, fresh and a lot of options.
