The room was very clean and modern. About a 20 min walk from the airport, short walk to downtown, and a VERY short walk to the ferry terminal. For it's low cost, I didn't expect this clean/modern of a hotel room, but it exceeded my expectations. The room was a bit small, but that didn't bother my partner or I. Wish we could have stayed longer!

excellent stay at the bodo hotel , i recomend it to all my friends , theyr personal was awesome , they went beyond theyr normal duty to accomodate me , breakfast was excellent , i told the friendly server the eggs were very good , overall great experience , the receptionist was also first class, lots of experience , i think i know that very well as i have a 37 years experience in hospitality, i will gladly come back to this hotel any chance i will have to visit bodo .

The hotel was close to the train station and the city centre. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast and dinner included in the price were good. We also enjoy the afternoon Fika. Our room was quiet and of a good size. We highly recommend the hotel.

    Bodø isnt a common or popular tourist destination for most visitors to Norway but it has a lot to offer, from restaurants, beaches, nature hikes and excursions, northern lights, and of course not to forget Saltstraumen. It is colder than other cities in Norway as it is the windiest city in Norway, so be prepared for that.

    We loved our stay in Bodø although we didn’t see much of the city itself. We hiked up Keiservarden, went to the Pust Sauna with a dip in the freezing ocean, went on a moose safari at night and ended our trip with a visit to the Luftfahrtmuseum.

    We didn’t stay long so I can’t really give a full review (we were just there one night en route to the Lofoten Islands). However it seemed like a lively port city. Lovely harbour with bars and outside seating and an interesting church.

    Bodo has much to offer visitors.

    Bodo has much to offer visitors. It has a convenient bus service. If you enjoy hiking and cycling there are many routes in and around the town. Take the 40 minute bus ride to the beautiful pink beach, Mjelle. Take your bicycle on the Moskenes ferry to Lofoten Island for the day. (pedestrians go for free) Don't just limit your visit to the marina. There is much more to see and do in Bodo.

    everything in walking distance is perfect. if you get tired, just hop on the the city bus for easy sightseeing. great shopping center and cute little places in the city too. if you need a break from walking and shopping, make a splash @ Nordlandsbadet :)

    I was here only one day and unfortunately during bad weather...

    I was here only one day and unfortunately during bad weather (not terrible rain, but very windy) but I still walked through the whole city and wish I had more time to go to the surrounding beaches and hiking trails. I had a great and affordable meal at tiger sushi - vegan sushi was available, and they also had a huge and impressive buffet for meat eaters!

    A beautifully located modern and comfortable hotel with a great view, delicious breakfast, big parking, helpful staff. Beds were very comfortable, the view from the window was excellent, it was easily accessible with a car, in 5 minutes we could reach the city centre. There are a lot of hiking tracks nearby. I highly recommend the Wood Hotel!

    It’s right opposite the train station so easy to get to if you arriving by train. But Bodo is quite small so most of the big hotels are located quite close. The views from the room overlooking sea and sunsets were nice. The free usage of laundry was very useful too.
