IndiaIt's a most generously and luxuriously appointed mountain lodge situated on a beautiful hill close to the Sogndal village. We were a family of 9 and it was a most spacious and comfortable stay for all of us in spite of our large number. The host Janne and Lars are super responsive and generous with their offering. The lodge has everything that you can think of..outdoor seating, large terrace, music system, fireplace with wood available, superbly equipped kitchen with all the basic food items that you will need, a large collection of cutlery and crockery for all needs. Want to come again during the ski season to fully enjoy this luxurious home. I can go on and on...

SwedenThe host was kind and welcomed us, even though we booked only a few minutes before arrival and it was late evening.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary appliances. It was lovely to have a sauna, especially after a long and cold travelling day. The area is stunning and you can almost spot the mountains straight from your bed.

Lovely location on the Fjord. Gorgeous.
Lovely location on the Fjord. Gorgeous. Not a whole lot to do except short hikes along the Fjord, or going on organized tours. In general, it is a good idea to check hiking possibilities on online sites before going somewhere in Norway. When the fjords are very steep that there aren't many easily accessible hikes, which we didn't anticipate. But the walk along the Fjord was jaw-dropping and you can go a long way. We tried to rent a bike and the minimum rental period was 3 hrs, and we didn't have that much time.( It is a small place so an hour's rental would have sufficed. ) The glacier museum was nice for 60-90 min.Guest review bySanjeevUnited States - 10.0

For those who love Norway's mountains and green farmed glacial valleys all topped by Europe's largest Ice Field, this place is as picturesque and likable as anywhere on Earth. The Glacier Museum in Fjaerland sports a riveting breathtaking 20 minute flyover surround video of the Jostedalsbreen Ice Field.
