The view from the window is absolutely incredible! The reception was so warm and friendly — we truly felt welcome. Every request was handled with kindness and care.     All the restaurants and the hotel were closed.

    All the restaurants and the hotel were closed. Not possible to eat out. The factory sale shop was closed at Saturday, to bad, because this is normally a shopping day in the bigger cities. The foodstore Spar was ok, selling much more than Food (toys, clothes, Fishing Equipment, hiking Equipment, house Paint, interior articles, knitting wool, fabrics etc).

    The owner was absolutely wonderful. He helped us with several aspects of our trip - He went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to try to get us on a RIB boat. The dining room is lovely - good breakfast - limited dinner menu but what they serve is delicious. We had the largest room in the hotel - it was great. Bathroom totally updated.

    The hotel is in an excellent location if someone would like to go hiking. The kitchen is very professional for almost everyone who wants to make a daily meal, including microwave, oven, freezer, kitchen stove, and tableware. So, you can cook a nice meal before you challenge the wild path.

    The cute hut is on top of a hill in Kinsarvik. It’s small but you have everything you need and the owner Lin and her family are very helpful. She told us about few trails and places we could visit. Will definitely stay here when I visit hardanger..

    Nice calm place, ideal for the purpose to hike in the region. Tourist center just besides the hotel. As well close by fast charging. Clean rooms and good service.
