When we arrived, we were a bit early so we had a lovely chat with (what we assume was) the landlady’s partner. He has upgraded out road trip with his fantastic suggestions. Lillian was a magnificant host. We were able to stay in the house all by ourselves, so we could enjoy the common rooms in quiet. The view is to die for. The beds were some of the most comfortable ones on our trip so far. All in all positively perfect!

It was so cozy. The place and the stuff made you more than welcome. You could really felt the home vibe. Food was awesome, so tasty. Room was clean, bed very comfy and the view was just breath taking. I am sure i will come back maybe in winter time.

    Really beautiful hotel in a stunning location! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was great with a variety of options. Wish we stayed here longer as it is really nice location if you want nature. Parking at the hotel was also free.

    For us the Utstein Kloster Hotell was a special experience. Lots of smiling and accommodating staff, interesting art, beautiful view, and our room was well appointed and peaceful. We had a delicious dinner there. We hope to come back soon!

    Location is remote but good for visit to nearby nice monastery. 25 min to Stavanger. Hotel atmosphere is relaxing. Small breakfast but good local produce.
