A large building, already having its years, but it has many advantages. Very nice lobby, extremely helpful staff, restaurant with delicious food, huge selection of feed from the buffet. Very nice, modern rooms, comfortable bed, well-equipped gym. The hotel is located in a beautiful village, next to it there is a cable car that can take you 1100 m up and offers an extraordinary view of the fjords. Important, tickets for entry can be purchased at the hotel reception. The building is already quite old, but the comfort in the interior compensates for the resort character of the hotel. From the outside it can not stall, but everything is great from the inside.

    Olden is a beautiful little town next to Loen with drives...

    Olden is a beautiful little town next to Loen with drives and outdoor acitivities galore. We stayed 2 days and could have stayed at least 2 more. We did the Skylift, ate at Hoven, drove to the Briksdal glaciar and the Kjenndalsbreen Glacier. Loved it!

    The awesome, fabulous view I had from my cabin which was very comfortable, clean, cosy and warm with a very well-equipped kitchen. The excellent service and the help provided for my rental car, the radio in the bathroom, the trails closeby, the stunning Nature all around.. The very cosy reception with everything you may need. Great place to stay, great people also in Norway. I wish I could come back to Olden and I definitely recommend the camping !

    The location was phenomenal and really puts you right in the middle of Norway’s beautiful nature. The cabins are perfect for a family of four and present you with gorgeous views. Staff are friendly and willing to go out of the way to help if needed. Property also provides free use of all water activities such as paddle boats, kayaks, row boats, and even a water trampoline. Incredibly quiet atmosphere which makes for a tranquil experience

    If you wish to experience beyond what a traditional hotel offers, this is the place for you. After our travel with numerous Hotels, this place stands out, and the reason is not because you have more choices at the breakfast, but you feel you are in a different universe. Like you went back in time and your stay becomes more than just a room. Even though we booked wrongly the hosts arranged everything to meet our needs on the spot.

    Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Beautiful location by the fjord. Worth staying 2 nights to visit the glacier at Briksdalsbre. Hotel serves a good buffet dinner and there is a cosy restuarant at the waterfront.
