Extremely friendly helpful host Cecilie. Sparkling clean. All furnitures look new and clean, all the utensils extremely clean as well. Stunning view! Cecilie’s place is definitely under rated. It should be at least 9.5 in my opinion.

A truly amazing property, with an amazing view to go with it. We booked very last minute (an hour before we checked in) but Cecilie was well prepared and extremely welcoming. The apartment itself offered everything we needed, and was furnished to a very high standard. You could tell that a lot of effort and attention to detail had been put into the property. The only problem was that we had to leave! We really wished we could have stayed longer.

Camping located very close to the fiord. Great spot if you like fishing. We had nice cozy hytte. Very clean camping. Its located near the road but it was very quiet inside the cabin. Personel was very kind and helpful.

The facilities are amazing and the staff are delightful. We loved being here for 4 days as we got to use everything. The pool and spa are so lovely after hiking all day. The gym is nice and clean with good quality equipment. Loen is a fantastic destination, so much to see and do. The Fjord and the lake are stunning and it was all easily accessible from Hotel Alexandra. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Visnes Hotel Stryn felt like a peaceful journey back in time. The hotel has a cozy and bright atmosphere that reminded me of staying at my grandmother’s house – warm, welcoming, and full of charm. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We arrived very early due to our bus schedule, and the staff kindly let us leave our luggage even before check-in time, which was a big help as it was raining and nothing nearby was open. The staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for those who love nature and authentic Norwegian charm.

Check in was so smooth. You didn’t have to speak to anyone, it was all explained well via email. From where the key is, to what the wifi password is and where to find what restaurant. The room was nice, comfortable (big) beds, clean and spacious bathroom, central hotel and very nice staff.

    Olden is a beautiful little town next to Loen with drives...

    Olden is a beautiful little town next to Loen with drives and outdoor acitivities galore. We stayed 2 days and could have stayed at least 2 more. We did the Skylift, ate at Hoven, drove to the Briksdal glaciar and the Kjenndalsbreen Glacier. Loved it!

    The apartment is the most expensive one in my whole trip in Norway, however, the best too. Very spacious with a modern nordic design, my wife and my daughter both gave five thumbs up and wowed. Terrace is lovely and there is a stunning view of the spectacular glacier. Free paddles and kayaks are bonus to us becuase we love olden lake! Unforgettable experience of kayaking on the lake. My daughter bravely took the challenge of controlling the boat by herself , impressive!

    The house is large and has plenty of space for guests. The garden is beautiful and has an amazing backdrop of the mountains with the soundtrack of the rapids in the river. Truly a peaceful space. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and had a good washing machine and tumble dryer which were welcome! It’s an easy drive or walk into Olden itself and the owner was very helpful and responsive.

    The hotel is a bit old. The pillow were very very soft. The worse part is the toilet . In the shower area , there was only one wall of glass or plastic rather than 2.So it is impossible to that the toile be dry. The toilet room was always wet and extended to the most part , we had to put the towers to seal or protect the other area from showers.

    Really clean, well maintained and well appointed apartment- everything we could have wished for. Use of the gorgeous pool was the icing on the cake! Super helpful and friendly host with great communications. Well positioned for Olden, Loen and access to the north. So much to do in the area. Fantastic views. Great comfort.
