We had a problem with the booking and Marianne solved it in seconds. Marianne became the star by saving the holiday. Perfect place to nurture love. Linda welcomed us and was very concerned about our well being and creates sharm at work by treating customers with care and respect. Linda is an angel. Both girls spoiled us from start to finish. It was located about 15 min drive from Stavanger. A best location for a night stay before a hike to Pulpit Rock. This is not a hotel. A fully equipped house with small kitchen unit that you can find everything for a serious cooking. Bathroom is spacious with generous water pressure hot and cold. View from the unit can be ignored. You can reach the water front in 3 min by car. There is a small park for a pleasant stroll after dinner nearby. A big grocery store is just a min drive away. The host was waiting for us at the front so we had no difficulty at all finding our way into the unit.

    Tau was pretty uninteresting although the bakery was good.

    Tau was pretty uninteresting although the bakery was good. I was disappointed to find that what looked like a charming character country hotel was adjacent to and overlooked a transport depot. Also the breakfast was pre packaged. - sandwich and fruit and ja juice. I didn’t appreciate not having a choice. Having said all that, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was comfortable with a pleasant vibe.

    Incredible views and a great space. It's as good as it looks in the photos. The location is great. I can understand why this place is booked up so far in advance. We loved the cinema room. Easy access instructions to property and Jim was very responsive. Parking easy. Would recommend the boat tour Jim organises. Sushi place in Tau was great too. Jacuzzi worked well - really easy to figure out.

    very nice and friendly receptionist, he advised us about our trek to Preikestolen, the possibility to use the kitchen and hide food in the fridge - we appreciated it during our road trip, the surroundings of the hotel are breathtaking!!! - mountains and lake was very very bautiful.. peace everywhere

    An amazing house with a beautiful view of the Tau and surroundings. Very nice owners with fast reply to any of our questions. Would definitely recommend and comeback if we would be coming back to Tau and areas. Thank you for hosting us it was amazing 😁.

    Wanted a room near Pulpit Rock as we climbed it the next day. Interesting combination of brewery and hotel which actually worked out very well. Good location as part of our group climbed Pulpit Rock and the other took a nearby bus to Stavanger.
