The services provided by the staff we're excellent. They we're friendly and helpfull when we needed them and beyond. Especially on the Tuesday night, after a whole day of searching for a hotel it's nice when you get greeted by a friendly face. The rooms themselves we're clean and had a lot of space. The bathroom was nice and clean too! 10/10

It is a large house, clean, minimalistically, yet practically, furnished, amazing view of the fjord from some of the windows, quiet location, the nearest supermarket super close, Pulpit rock within a few minutes' drive. Free parking, super easy key access, excellent communication with host. A fantastic house!

This is the best apartment I have ever stayed in my many years of travel. It is clean, spacious, nicely decorated and fully equipped with all the cooking and washing facilities. Parking is free, just across the road near the jetty area. Petter and Linette are wonderful hosts. Very responsive and prompt in replying all my inquiries. It's location is strategic, especially if you want to hike to Pulpit Rock or book a ferry from Oanes to Lysebotn to hike to Kjerag and Kjeragbolten. There's a beautiful island nearby which is within 10 minutes walk from the apartment. You can find REMA 1000, Kiwi and Extra grocery stores within walking distance too. Highly recommended and definitely value for money. Thanks Petter and Linette for the generous supply of coffee capsules.

Everything we could possibly need or want to make our stay comfortable was here. Lovely gardens, very clean and spacious apartment. Easy access on ground floor. Handy to shop and bus stop.

The house was very clean and cozy and the host was super friendly and provided everything we needed. Perfect place for accommodation if you are going to Preikestolen (only 15 min away by car). Overall it has been a really pleasant stay at this place. I would highly recommend it!

    Tau was pretty uninteresting although the bakery was good.

    Tau was pretty uninteresting although the bakery was good. I was disappointed to find that what looked like a charming character country hotel was adjacent to and overlooked a transport depot. Also the breakfast was pre packaged. - sandwich and fruit and ja juice. I didn’t appreciate not having a choice. Having said all that, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was comfortable with a pleasant vibe.

    Incredible views and a great space. It's as good as it looks in the photos. The location is great. I can understand why this place is booked up so far in advance. We loved the cinema room. Easy access instructions to property and Jim was very responsive. Parking easy. Would recommend the boat tour Jim organises. Sushi place in Tau was great too. Jacuzzi worked well - really easy to figure out.

    An amazing house with a beautiful view of the Tau and surroundings. Very nice owners with fast reply to any of our questions. Would definitely recommend and comeback if we would be coming back to Tau and areas. Thank you for hosting us it was amazing 😁.
