This was one of the best experiences we've have ever had in 30 years of travelling. Bishnu and his family are simply delightful! From the room to the great Nepalese food, to the amazing animals and birds! What we saw from rhino's to the amazing birds and the garials were simply stunning!A lovely family which helped made it simply memorable!

We had the pleasure to spend two nights at the Barahi jungle lodge on the banks of East Rapti River in Nepal. Already at Bharatpur airport we were welcomed by the lodge‘s pick-up service in person of most amiable Rajesh, who should turn out to be our naturalist guide for the whole stay. The Head-manager himself gave us a warm welcome and introduction into the lodge. We were impressed by the careful sustainability efforts in combination with a five star accomodation with all modern facilities close to the jungle. The staff was most caring, polite and attentive in all functions. The highlights of course were the Jeep Safari, Jungle walk and boat safari in the early morning in the park. Across the shallow Rapti river pick-up point is reached with a boat directly from the lodge. Safar jeeps wating for half or full-day trips. Driver and our guide Rajesh did a terrific job in showing vegetation and all wildlife Chitwan had to offer on that day including a stylish jungle tea/coffee with pastry. Deer, boars, bears, rhinos, monkeys, elefants are just the bigger animals, not speaking of peacocks and many other exotic birds. Safety was always key and we felt always secure and in best hands, either on the car or by foot during jungle walk. Both activities give a very good impression of the park‘s environment. Arriving from the trip with dust and sweat Barahi staff was waiting with refreshment towels and fresh water. A boat trip in the early morning on the calm Rapti river gave wonderful sight on birdlife and bigger animals crossing or bathing in the river. Dinner followed after a presentation of regional cultural dance with excellent cuisine listening to the sounds of the jungle by the pool. Coffee, tea, water was complementary all time with high-speed WiFi. Our bungalow met all expectations with enormous comfort. Wow, this was Nepali hospitality at its best.

I had an amazing stay here. I felt immediately at home. It’s such a nice place to relax, be in nature and spend time with amazing people. Hari is an AMAZING host, he is very kind and makes you feel so welcome in Chitwan. ☀️ I did the full day safari and we saw lots of animals up close, including 2 bears!! Hari knows the jungle so well so we had lunch at an amazing view point. As well as a the safari, I loved the yoga class, jungle walks and beautiful sunsets. 🌅 I extended my stay and was very sad to leave. So I would recommend this homestay to anyone interested in a relaxing jungle visit! Thank you Hari!

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! My husband and I had an exceptional stay at this beautiful cottage right beside the Chitwan National Park. The cottage was built with attention to detail and using noble materials. It's beautifully maintained, and blended perfectly with the natural surroundings. The staff were incredibly hospitable, ensuring every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the jungle was an unforgettable experience, making this stay a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. Tulsi, our host and safari guide, was fantastic—his deep knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism truly enhanced our experience. Seeing rhinos up close was a once-in-a-lifetime moment we’ll never forget. The food was delightful, and the one-day safari tour was simply breathtaking. The location was truly serene, offering stunning views and the soothing sounds of nature all around. Highly recommended for anyone looking to reconnect with nature!

Green Chwadi felt like a little paradise for me. The surroundings are beautiful and it's right in nature. The staff is so incredibly accommodating, they made me feel like a princess and always took care of my needs. They also had different activities on offer, and I chose the jungle walk, Jeep Safari and boat trip, and a cultural night with the Tharu people. It was such a once in a lifetime experience! They also took me on different side trips in the area and I got to meet locals and saw how they live. The rooms are decorated so nicely with artwork from local artists. The food was all organic and very good, and even though I have a lot of food restrictions (vegan, glutenfree), they always created little varieties for me. With part of the benefits, the nature retreat supports the school next door, and the locals in the area, which is auch a nice bonus. You can really feel how everyone involved pours their heart into this and that's what makes the difference. I left Green Chwadi so relaxed and centered, and wish I could've stayed longer! :-)

The hotel provides Machan Experience and it was lovely, we had a wonderful time the staff there were very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. I would definitely recommend.
