Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions. It was a difficult road journey in a Luxury Coach journey from Kathamandu which took 11 hours to travel 200km due to extremely poor road conditions and traffic jams. It's a beautiful, peaceful city with pleasant weather and stunning natural surroundings. We explored the lake area and nearby spots – truly relaxing. Pokhara was nice and touristy, it had a lot of shops and restaurants and everything was a walking distance in the lakeside area. For souvenirs and purchases, it is considered a bit more expensive than Kathmandu. Pokhara is a beautiful place and though it is a stop for many trekkers who are going for different treks, the city has alot to offer. The Phewa lake boat ride, the Basundhara park, the Gurkha memorial museum and the marketplace are some fun things to do when in Pokhara. I highly recommend exploring the lakeside and consider the city more than just a pit-stop for the different treks.Guest review byKyleDsIndia

A bit away from the traffic of lakeside you are close to everything but can at the same time enjoy the peace and quiet combined with an amazing view of the lake.
